Kitty hero!
While driving home tonight, I noticed not one but two kittens laying in the middle of the road. As I got closer, they didn't move, or seem at all concerned about the prospect of being crushed by my car. So, I slammed on the breaks and swerved to the left, narrowly missing them both and sending my midnight snack McDonalds fries all over the dash board. Crisis averted, two kitties saved. :-)

I once thought I ran over a puppy (I didn't) and until I found out for sure otherwise, I couldn't quit sobbing. I'm pretty sure I'd rather hit a person. So good job!

I'm glad you chose kitty life over fries ;) II wonder whythey were in the road. Probably bcz they they had been at this a while and every once in a while soeone has their window dwn and their fries fly out!

I would have liked this story much better had you stopped the car and picked up the kittens, placing them safely to the grass/sidewalk.
Alas, I showed you a movie you didn't would have preferred to be different in the end as well - touche!

My dad told me that your car/life is more important than an animal in the road - especially a cat. I'll have to ask him if fries are more important than kittens.
