Everybody's Got The Right

Tonight I saw "Assassins" in Portland with Jess, Matt and Kirsten. In short, it was really, really good. It was funny and dramatic and moving. Moreover, I really liked the overarching social commentary that we created these people and continue to allow folks like Booth and Oswald to exist. Wow. Anyway, if you ever get a chance to see this show I HIGHLY recommend it.

  • Funny how I wasn't one of the assassins... hmmm... Just tell Sondhiem's people to call my people.

  • I read a book called "Case Closed" by Gerald Posner in my senior seminar class that discusses the JFK assassination (argues for a single assassin theory), but Posner also digs very deep into Oswald's life and attempts to explain what motivated him to assassinate JFK. It's a thick read (500 or 600 pages), but Posner does an awesome job in portraying Oswald and everything he went through.
